Description

Wellbeing Nutrition, a D2C health & wellness startup, is raising Rs 25 crore (approximately $3 million) in debt funding led by pharma company ACG-Capsules with participation from Maheshwari Investors Pvt Ltd, MGB Advisors, and Atmos Finance. The board passed a special resolution to issue 2,500 optionally convertible debentures (OCDs) at an issue price of Rs 1,00,000 each. ACG led the round with a Rs 10 crore investment while the others contributed Rs 5 crore each. The company plans to use the funds for general business operations, including capital and working capital expenditures.

The startup will use the funds to strengthen R&D and create the next generation of nutraceuticals, to launch new products, acquire talent, and create better awareness and reach, according to a statement. “The products use research-driven formulations in innovative delivery formats that are proven to be more bioavailable, effective, and fast-acting compared to traditional formats like tablets and capsules,” the company said.
