Wadiz, one of South Korea’s largest direct-to-consumer (D2C) platforms for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), announced on Friday that it has raised 80 billion won ($68 million) from LOTTE Holdings, one of the country’s leading conglomerates.

The startup also recently opened its flagship offline showroom ‘Gonggan Wadiz’ in Seongsu, providing an offline showcase for small brands on its platform. Established in 2012, Wadiz claims to be the largest crowdfunding platform in South Korea offering rewards-based and equity crowdfunding.
