About

The corpus bagged by NewLink brings its Series E round funding to ‘hundreds of millions of US dollars’, the company said in a WeChat post. Since its inception in 2016, the company claims to have served nearly 100,000 clients such as SF Express, ZTO Freight and J&T Express, among others.“As the energy industry structure transitions under the ‘dual carbon’ context, Newlink, with our overriding mission of achieving zero-carbon energy, will continue to drive the digitalization, branding, and decarbonization of the industry,” said Newlink founder and CEO Zhen Dai in a statement. In 2021, NewLink raised $300 million across two deals – one was $200 million funding from global multi-asset alternative investment major Bain Capital and Joy Capital in March, and the second, a $100 million investment led by China Merchants’ CMB International in January. The company counts Xiaomi Corporation, China SME Development Fund, KIP China, NIO Capital and Hongtai Aplus, among its investors.
