Barclays has announced the appointment of Gijs Borghouts as Chief Internal Auditor and a member of the Group Executive Committee, subject to regulatory approval. Gijs Borghouts will succeed Lindsay O’Reilly, who has been leading the Internal Audit function since 2019.
