Nexans has secured a major framework agreement with RTE to supply 450 km of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) subsea cables and 280 km of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) onshore cables for three offshore wind farms in France. The agreement, valued at over €1 billion, aligns with France’s offshore wind targets and reinforces Nexans' position in Europe's energy transition efforts.
